On June 9th, 2014, ASU replaced its previous compensation system with a new, more flexible, performance-based approach commonly known as broadbanding. This workshop will focus on sharing the ‘nuts and bolts’ of the new compensation framework and the advantages it brings to ASU. "Broadbanding" allows more flexibility and gives leaders the ability to reward staff for their development, performance and outcomes. The framework also will align ASU pay more closely with relevant labor markets. Finally, the framework is intended to promote consistent pay practices over time.
